Built around an advanced BRAIDING-X blank, the Daiwa 21 Sensor Wave 1303HFS-NZ Surfcasting Rod combines a surprisingly lightweight feel with serious strength. Designed in Japan and tailored for New Zealand conditions, this rod is ideal for delivering long, accurate casts with metal lures from beaches and breakwalls. Its light build enables precise lure control—something you have to experience to fully appreciate. The rod follows a classic New Zealand surf design, featuring a slightly shorter handle that's preferred by both sidecast and spin reel users.
Thanks to BRAIDING-X technology in the butt section, the blank achieves a slimmer profile, improving overall balance and handling when fishing. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.
