Air Rotor
Daiwa has engineered a completely new Air Rotor, particularly beneficial for reels with sealed mechanisms. This design more effectively distributes the significant forces exerted on the rotor through the line and line roller. By spreading the load across the entire structure, it reduces stress on individual rotor components. The new rotor is 15% lighter than conventional rotors made from the same material, which minimizes vibrations and improves rotational balance due to a lower center of gravity. When subjected to the same load, a standard rotor deforms more than an Air Rotor, as the strain is dispersed rather than focused on a single point.
TwistBuster II
Line twist was once considered an unavoidable issue with spinning reels. Daiwa's Twistbuster II technology tackles this problem with a uniquely tapered line roller. This effective design counteracts line twist, leading to superior line management and a much smoother, more hassle-free fishing experience.
DigiGear II
The reel is equipped with DigiGear II—precision-machined, digitally engineered gears for top-tier performance and durability. Housed within Daiwa's robust HardBodyZ aluminium body, these gears transfer power from the handle to the rotor with exceptional smoothness and efficiency, letting you focus entirely on fishing.
