Designed for ultra-smooth winding and exceptional drag power, it is built to handle long, demanding fights with trophy-sized game fish.
Equipped with Shimano’s advanced Infinity Drive technology, the reel features a redesigned drag system that delivers increased drag pressure while minimising side-load stress. This results in up to 30% lighter handle rotation, even under heavy drag and high-load conditions.
This latest Talica generation also incorporates X-Protect technology, providing superior water resistance in critical areas to enhance durability while maintaining a refined, lightweight gear feel. For added versatility, the reel includes a Light-Line Drag Cam, offering a softer drag curve ideal for anglers using monofilament or lighter fluorocarbon leaders.
The rigid HAGANE aluminium body reduces overall weight while preventing flex, warping, and distortion, ensuring smooth power transmission and efficient cranking during intense battles. Building on Shimano’s S-Compact body design, the palming side plate is now 6% smaller than the previous generation, improving comfort and control.
