Okuma Flite Surf 12000 Spinning Reel
Exceptional Distance and Enduring Durability
Okuma continues to make significant advances in the surf fishing market, and the all-new Flite Surf 12000 Spinning Reel is a testament to their commitment to redefine the standard for long-cast surf reels.
Engineered for performance, the Flite Surf 12000 features a lightweight yet incredibly durable C-40X body, side plate, and rotor, offering superior corrosion resistance for the most demanding saltwater conditions. At its heart is the innovative Flite Drive System, which enhances gear stability and delivers exceptionally smooth operation. Backed by a multi-disc Carbonite and stainless-steel drag system, this reel provides consistent, powerful stopping power when it counts.
Built for smoothness and reliability, it incorporates a high-performance 9HPB+1RB corrosion-resistant bearing system and a Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing. The A7075 aluminium main shaft reduces overall weight, while the machined aluminium screw-in handle and lightweight T-shaped TPE knobs ensure comfort and control during long sessions. Further enhancing its performance are HDG-II high-density gearing with a machine-cut brass pinion gear, a 35mm super slow oscillation system for perfect line lay, and a precision-machined aluminium long-cast spool. A DLC-coated one-piece bail wire, rotor brake, and the RESII computer-balanced rotor system work in harmony to maximize casting distance and overall stability.
With a 4.3:1 gear ratio retrieving 103cm of line per crank, and a massive line capacity of 835 yards of 12lb mono, the Flite Surf 12000 is ready for extended sessions. It delivers a formidable 18kg of max drag pressure, giving you the power to subdue trophy fish.
