LT Concept
The LT platform combines a more compact reel profile with greater strength than previous designs. A streamlined body paired with a reinforced Digigear system delivers an ideal balance of light weight and durability. LT Concept represents a design leap forward, built to accommodate modern PE/braid lines with greater line and drag capacity, more robust gearing, easier handling, and enhanced overall performance.
ATD Drag
Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag incorporates a specially formulated drag grease that stays thin when idle but thickens quickly once the drag engages. This minimizes the inertia felt at drag startup, and together with structural refinements to the ATD system, produces a smoother drag response right from the moment of hookset.
Longcast Spool
When compared with standard spools, the LC-ABS Spool design has demonstrated an increase in average casting distance of roughly 5%, thanks to its lighter weight and reshaped profile. The LC-ABS Spool gives anglers a superior casting experience.
