The new Daiwa Emeraldas 83ML Egi Rod is the ideal all around eging rod, perfect for targeting Squid from both shore and boat. It has sufficient length for making long searching casts, allowing you to cover large areas of water increasing the chance of locating Squid. The powerful lower section enables you to make use of slack line and aggressive jerking techniques, to efficiently manipulate jigs up through the water column and attract nearby squid. While the sensitive tip section will allow you to feel even the faintest of contacts.
High grade carbon materials combined with Braiding X brings high end technology and performance to a rod that is designed for the intermediate angler. Braiding X is a carbon weave placed around key locations in the blank to increase power, this allows for a decrease in blank diameter and a reduction in overall weight. The ultra light Fuji KL guides deliver minimum friction when casting and reduce the chance of tangling - improving casting distance, accuracy and control. Optimised guide placements and reduced guide weight allows you to experience the full action of this purpose built blank.
