Designed for anglers of all experience levels, the Daiwa 23 Exceler LT 3000D-C Spinning Reel combines lightweight handling with dependable performance. Building on the success of Daiwa’s LT “Light & Tough” concept, the latest Exceler generation introduces the advanced Airdrive Design for a smoother, lighter and more responsive fishing experience.
The newly engineered Airdrive Rotor significantly reduces start-up inertia, allowing the handle to begin turning with less effort. Together with the redesigned rotor and bail assembly, the reel delivers a noticeably lighter and smoother initial rotation, making it easier to respond quickly to bites and maintain precise lure control.
Despite its lightweight construction, the 23 Exceler is built to provide the durability and strength required for everyday fishing. Whether you're an experienced angler or just getting started, this reel offers an excellent combination of smooth operation, low weight and reliable performance.
Airdrive Design
Daiwa’s Airdrive Design is built around four key components: the Airdrive Rotor, Airdrive Bail, Airdrive Spool and Airdrive Shaft. By reducing unnecessary weight in the reel’s rotating and moving components, the system improves balance, responsiveness and rotational smoothness while making the reel easier to operate.
Zaion V Body
The reel body is constructed from Zaion V, Daiwa’s lightweight carbon-resin material. It provides an impressive combination of strength, rigidity and low weight while offering excellent resistance to corrosion, making it well suited to a wide range of fishing environments.
ABS Longcast Spool
The ABS Longcast (LC-ABS) spool features a redesigned profile and reduced weight to help improve casting performance. Compared with conventional spool designs, LC-ABS technology can increase average casting distance by approximately 5%, allowing anglers to reach more productive areas with less effort.
Tough Digigear
The Tough Digigear system is an advanced evolution of Daiwa’s proven Digigear technology. Using digitally engineered and precision-machined gearing, it provides smooth rotation, accurate gear engagement and increased strength for dependable performance under load.
