Powerful, Durable and Built for Saltwater
The Daiwa Saltist MQ 4000D-XH Light Tackle Spinning Reel is engineered to deliver outstanding strength, smooth performance and reliable protection in demanding saltwater environments. Featuring a one-piece aluminium Monocoque (MQ) body, this reel offers exceptional rigidity and durability. Combined with Daiwa's Magsealed technology, it provides enhanced protection against water and salt intrusion, helping maintain long-lasting performance.
The innovative MQ body accommodates a larger-diameter Tough Digigear drive gear, delivering increased winding power and efficient power transfer from the handle to the line. This added strength gives anglers greater control when fighting hard-running fish.
The reel also features a hollow tubular Air Bail, designed to improve line management and guide line smoothly back onto the line roller. This helps deliver consistent performance, even when using fine braided lines in windy conditions. An aluminium round handle knob provides a comfortable, secure grip and excellent control during demanding fights.
Whether you're targeting powerful inshore species or tackling challenging saltwater conditions, the Daiwa Saltist MQ 4000D-XH Spinning Reel combines strength, durability and refined engineering to give anglers the confidence they need on the water.
Monocoque (MQ) Body Technology
Daiwa's innovative Monocoque body design eliminates the need for a conventional side plate. Instead, a precision-engineered engine plate is secured directly to the reel body, reducing the need for additional body-cover screws. This design enhances overall body rigidity, improves water resistance and allows the use of a larger drive gear for greater winding power and durability.
