The Okuma Nanomatrix X 1503 Mad Dog Surfcasting Spin Rod is designed for surfcasters who demand maximum casting distance. Measuring an impressive 15ft (4.5m), it is the longest rod in the Nanomatrix Surf range, providing exceptional casting leverage to help reach distant gutters, channels and feeding zones.
At its core is a powerful 40T carbon blank, offering the strength and responsiveness needed to launch heavy surf rigs while providing plenty of power to control strong fish in challenging conditions. The innovative adjustable “Mad Dog” reel seat allows you to fine-tune the reel position to match your casting technique, helping optimise balance, control and casting performance.
Despite its impressive length, the three-piece S-Joint construction makes the rod practical to transport and store. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.
