Dependable Strength and Outstanding Value for Every Fishing Adventure
Ready to take on challenging fishing conditions without stretching your budget? The PENN Pursuit V 8000 Spinning Reel combines reliable performance, rugged construction and excellent value. Its corrosion-resistant graphite body is designed to withstand the demands of saltwater fishing, while PENN’s proven HT-100 drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure when battling powerful fish. Supported by a 4+1 bearing system, this reel offers dependable operation and smooth retrieval for every cast.
Designed with practicality and performance in mind, the PENN Pursuit V features a braid-ready Superline spool, allowing braided line to be tied directly to the spool without requiring monofilament backing.
