The Shimano Dialuna Inshore Medium Heavy Spinning Rod blends lightweight feel with the sharp responsiveness and structural toughness required for challenging inshore lure fishing. The Carbon Monocoque rear grip lowers weight and improves vibration transfer, helping you stay in touch with your lure and pick up on subtle changes during the retrieve. At 7ft 6in with a 10-60g lure rating and PE 1-2.5 line rating, this two-piece spinning rod is built for heavier inshore lure applications.
Spiral X
Thanks to its unique lightweight design, Shimano's patented Spiral X construction boosts catching power for anglers. Spiral X consists of three layers: a middle layer of vertical fibers, plus inner and outer layers made of carbon tape that tightly wraps the blank diagonally in opposing directions.
By using this carbon tape instead of a conventional horizontal fiber sheet, Spiral X delivers greater compression rigidity and improved torsional rigidity without adding excess weight. This allows instant power transmission for accurate casting and fish fighting.
Carbon Monocoque
Carbon Monocoque is a carbon-molded grip that is lightweight and highly sensitive, passing even the faintest vibration to the angler's hand. The Carbon Monocoque Grip improves sensitivity by 30% over traditional rod handles and uses a hollow structure that removes unnecessary parts of the rear grip to enhance weight reduction and vibration transfer.
Hi-Power X
Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape to create a series of "X" shapes on the rod blank's outermost layer. The tape width, winding angle, and the section of the rod being wrapped are carefully adjusted according to the target fish species. This process lets Shimano fine-tune these wraps during construction for precise actions, greater overall strength, and added twist resistance. In short, Hi-Power X construction provides sharp and crisp rod control for the angler.
CI4+
CI4 is a Shimano original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and stronger than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. While improving lightness and rigidity, reel bodies, rotors, and reel seats built with CI4+ are further reduced in size and weight.
