The new Shimano Aerlex 10000 XSB Long Cast Surf Reel offers a vast improvement on the previous model. This long cast big pitt reel is designed to help you achieve maximum casting distance to help reach waters that occupy coastal species. It features a long cast ARC spool which allows for minimum spool lip friction for casting and line release. An additional bearing on the main gear improves the overall smoothness of rotation plus the handle has been upgraded to machined aluminium to improve overall strength. The Aerlex XSB also features a worm driven oscillating system (Aerowrap II). This offers a much slower oscillation and more consistent line lay, that is essential for spool release and casting distance.
