Enhanced Sensitivity and Superior Casting Performance
The Ugly Stik Gold 802M Rock Fishing Rod combines exceptional strength, sensitivity and casting performance to meet the demands of rock and shore fishing. Built using Ugly Stik's advanced Howald Process Triple-Built construction around an internal fibreglass core, this rod features parallel glass fibres infused with pigmented polyester resin to create a robust yet responsive blank. The result is a well-balanced rod engineered for durability, improved sensitivity and dependable performance.
Equipped with Fuji New Concept guides, featuring elevated supports to help minimise line tangles, the 802M is designed for smooth and efficient casting. A Fuji DPS graphite reel seat, comfortable tapered EVA grips embossed with the Ugly Stik logo, and a modern matte finish complete its premium design. With its solid fibreglass spiral tip and reinforced clear tip section, this rod delivers the strength and responsiveness anglers need when targeting hard-fighting fish from rocky shorelines.
