Yamashita Egi OH Q Live Search 490 Glow Normal Squid Jig
Revolutionary Japanese squid jigging technology
The Yamashita Egi OH Q Live Search Squid Jigs are the brainchild of Yamashita's research and development team - giving you squid jigs that look, feel, move, and sound better than any other squid jig in the market today.
490 GLOW
For many years squid anglers all over the world have used jigs equipped with glow material. Now, research shows the best wavelength of visible light for squid is 490nm. Each Yamashita Egi OH Q Live Search Squid Jig has 490 GLOW stickers attached to it for optimum visibility underwater - even in low light conditions.
Patented Yamashita thermo-storage cloth
Eging pioneer Yamashita found out that squid recognise temperature variations in water. As a result, Yamashita developed a unique thermo-storage cloth or 'warm jacket', weaved with a unique 'Tactywarm' thread that converts light into heat. This means that the Yamashita EGI OH Q Squid Jigs reacts to light by absorbing and retaining heat underwater - just like live fish!
Patented Yamashita nose design
The jig's nose design is ultra-thin yet durable, minimising water resistance with greater action and less effort. And what's more it jerks a lot sharper when you lift the rod, generating a much better 'walk the dog' action.
Yamashita Live Search Steel Rattle
Yamashita's research and development team have discovered that squid can pick up sounds between 400-1500Hz, with 600Hz as the specific frequency that gets them to attack. Yamashita EGI OH Q Live Search Squid Jigs are equipped with small steel Live Search rattle balls encased in a bone colour heavy-duty plastic that emits approximately 600Hz - attracting active, hungry squid.
